Text to translate: PSALM 23

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

2  He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

3  He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

4  Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

5  Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

6  Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

  1. The 4 guys did wonderfully well. My vote goes to entry 1.

My rating in order of performance is 1,3 and (2&4)

And my opined analysis : the second Runner - entry 3. Was the only one that got the right translation for Lord in verse 1.
He/she used more of the English alphabet he used "e" for è and é ; "q" for kw "or"for ô etc.
There are also more explanations than outright translations of some words.

Entry 1. Got most of the alphabets and translations right yet he translated Lord as God in verse 1 and maybe missed the right translation for staff in verse 4.

Entries 2&4 have the combination of errors of entries 1 and 3.
