In keeping with their earlier publicised plans, the Akweya Forum for Advancement (AFA) have held their maiden scholarship awards ceremony, Saturday, June 24, 2017. The awardees are postgraduate students of Nigerian tertiary institutions. They each received the sum of two hundred thousand naira.
In the story published last week on Akweya.com, the awardees of the 2017 AFA Scholarships are:
Ogwu Achoji Mary (M.Sc. Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution, National Open University of Nigeria, 2015/2016); Okopi Ezekiel Ade (M.A. Archaeology, University of Ibadan, 2014/2015); and Ogah Eleyi Stella (University of Nigeria, Nsukka, 2015/2016).
